High BER levels

Noticed massive BER levels which I think is causing my picture break up.

SNR and AGC 88% but BER on some channels 50000+ do I need to reconnect my yellow brick or maybe another filter?

Put it back & check the BER

If it's an attenuator eg says -10dB on it, it's to reduce the level if it's too strong or you'll get overload that the tuner can't cope with

Iv added the yellow brick back but the only way I can get it to be stable is have gain on max and slope set to min. Hopefully it will do the trick.

Sounds like a slope gain amplifier - usually about 20dB gain on max

is there an attenuator anywhere on the cable (usually about 30mm long block by 8mm x 8mm plus f connectors)

the tuner might need a stronger signal - what receiver is it
