I`ve searched and can`t find what I`m looking for,so here`s my query...
I`ve currently got a Vu+Duo with a cline but as V1rg1n are laying cable in my town,I think I`ll switch to a cable box and line.
What do I need to do with V1rg1n,subscription wise?
Do I need an official sub with them to get the cable into my house?

Just get virgin broadband in,that will get a virgin line into your house, then you use a 2 way splitter (3 way for twin tuner)into your catv box of choice

Yes you will need some sort of sub with virgin either TV or BB

whats the best dual cable receiver ?

Hi Peepz

I thought i'll join this thread with my question. I got virmin broadband, I need to add a spliter to get the TV. Shall I add it to the little box outside the house where the feed comes into the house or shall I add the spliter to the little box inside the house? or does it matter? looking at adding a 3 way splitter, finally is there a good brand I shoud go for or are all the same spliter I mean?

Ideally you should add it after the internal white box as it has an isolator which would protect the equipment. But there is nothing stopping you adding it outside and will still work.

Thanks, I just notice while checking the box outside the spliter is 5-100Mhz (Tratec RLS-02/MS) , there ones on fleebay like Part King 5-2450 Mhz. Shall I change it to this, will it improve performance on my broadband/tv ?

the above will work but may cause problems your better of sticking to 5 to 1000mhz to be on the safe side
