Hi all

Can anyone shed any light on this little niggle problem, I'm running ABM latest 2.5 now, the newest channel name change is sky valentine, on sky channel name changes over night, but on VM the SD channel changes but the HD one don't, now if I press red button show all channel the sky valentine HD is there but for some reason the ABM selects the old name Drama & Romance for that channel listing, now it does this with all channel changes that have an SD and HD option.

cheers

This is a niggle with ABM when names change.

Staying on a channel for a few seconds should correct itself. Only applies if you have not disabled background scanning in the image

how do I check background scanning, don't think I have seen that option at all

It is usually in Customise menu

On OpenATV image,

Blue > System > Customise > Disable background scanning

This should be set to "no", so that it is enabled.

Why scan the whole lot, just scan the affected transponder/frequency. just a few seconds then. Select the channel, then do a manual scan. You should be on the active TP/frequency then.

Or in ABM, delete bouquets, then run ABM again.

Good point but I'm not sure how to work out which transponder it's on

I tried that on a manual scan but it didn't pick new name up

Did you select clear before scan? Also double check the list of scanned channels to see you have the desired channel. Otherwsie, you are scanning the wrong frequency.
