Cable signal activation

I've got zgemma h1 but haven't been able to get any channels through the vm cable. It appears there is zero signal coming through as the config shows no signal reported. The last time I had vm tv was about 6 years ago. I've been on sly since then. I'm thinking I may have to get bb from vm to get the cable active and hopefully this will enable me to get all the tv channels. Has anyone had any similar issues with a dead cable line or any thoughts on my plan?

Sub to broadband and the line is active the box will scan in your channels

Hi-Vis Jacket walk calmly to the end of your Road where the VM CAB is open with pair of Snub nosed pliers, using said pliers reinstate your disconnected cable back to the Active Board.

Only Joking do it the legal way and Bung a few quid to a passing VM installer LOL
