hence why im asking. is it on vermin? im sure it will be on sly uk. i was just wondering because we get bt sports etc.

Not VM customers.
To get AMC you must be a BT customer, either through their own IPTV service, or on satellite through a Sky box. Subscription on both platforms is directly through BT, something you cannot do on Virgin, as it is a closed platform. You are therefore not BT custmer & cannot get the channel.
