Hi everyone
I'M looking for a 800se c image with boot loader, I tried one from this site and then discovered my sim is A8P. I'm now stuck with no ca error. I've tried dream up patched and no luck yet, won't connect.
If I use another image and the boot loader with the image will this do it or are they all specific types.
Any replies appreciated.
Thanks

You need to use original bootloaders and images mate.

Hi Fermat
Cheers for the reply.
Does this mean I have to go to "dreambox.de" site and do I load boot loader then image then bootloader again. Will this alter the sim so I am not restricted to A8P images. At the moment I can't get past "2nd loader failed" when I press mini flash,or "r01 no ca error" when you switch box on and off. I can't even connect to network.
Thanks.

Latest bootloader then image, you may need to use Optiflasher to recover let us know how you get on and we can advice.

Hi Ferret
I have tried different dream up and tried a few opti flashers, none seem to be A8P Sim and also downloaded the "usb virtual com port driver" for the box.
Still can't connect, I do appreciate any advice.

Still sounds like a PC driver issue have you Tried another PC ?

Is this the guide your following ?

1--- Connect USB cable to service slot on DM800SE/DM500HD and USB slot on Pc. Windows will then install the driver

You will notice, windows created a virtual Com Port connection to be be used ( in this case Com Port 4)

2 --- Switch Receiver off and connect Network cable Receiver and Router

3 --- Then Start SunRay- FlashUp, Tick Use Network, Fill the relevant boxes with local pc IP and Romote ip of your choose and click Connect.

Program will ask for you to Switch on the receiver.

4 -- It will then go into HTTP mode

5 -- At this stage, you open your browser and insert the romote IP shown on the 800LCD

Page will open as per bellow and then you chose the option Update Firmware.

6 --- Click Browse and navigate to your image

7 --- Chose the image and click Open

8 --- Now click Flash button

9 --- Image will start to

10 --- When it finishes you can click the back button of your browser so we can then send in the bl82 do not reboot

11 Browse and select the SSL82 for your DM800SE Clone

12 --- Once again Click Flash

13 -- After finishing click Reboot. In Most case you will need to do so manually

Box will then reboot and come back to life with image we chose to load. Then you can load your Patched image of your coice as box is functional again

Hi Fellas

Yes ferret, that is the guide I have tried and as I say no luck.

Bobby will this work without internet connection. I'm thinking that with the box being on dhcp, before it went down, and router being restarted will the IP have changed with the box being switched on and off numerous times.I have tried the address it was usually on I can't get the box to show an IP address.
Again fellas thanks for the replies

The japherflasher is just another patched dreamup so it needs mini service port and network. To get the box into http flashing mode.
