Help with Net ID and Service not Found

Hi all,

I set up my DM800SE two days ago and have had trouble with my net ID.

Im using blackhole ssl84d that someone modified on here as all the OpenPLI i tried from here kept freezing on boot and shutdown.

I have all channels now, many work including HD ones using bruteforce scan but I'm getting "SID not in PAT service not found error on many channels.

I sorted sly sports 1 by manually scanning the frequency it showed at the bottom and it cleared but its not working for the rest.

Ive figured that my NET ID begins with 40 or 41 following the rule below because 4952 is the symbol rate that all my working channels show:

netid 000xx : 6887
netid 40xxx : 6952
netid 41xxx : 6952
netid 42xxx : 6887

Im in NW London and my area bill states 21.

The net ID for NW london doesnt work for me at all which is 00005

According to this (cable forum.co.uk/board/101/33646308-which-network-am-i-on.html) and my area reference Im in Bromley but my post code 'NW10' show up in Knowsley.

If you take all this info in you can see why my head is about to explode :bangshead:

My signal rate is also 80%+

Maybe its the cables.xml file that is old...But it was only a couple of months old.


But I'd like to use autobouquets c2 to search but I need my net ID.

Has anyone got a link to autobouquets c2 the latest one.

I used it on an OpenPLI image here as it was built in. My current one is for Jan 2014 so its the old version.

I used that image which was great but wouldn't shutdown via menu and would just freeze forcing me to switch off from the back. Then it wouldnt boot because of it. Thats why I changed to blackhole.

Will use the c2 lite and report back.

Just used first available on a working channel and it killed all my channels.

Now will auto scan and try to find another working channel and go through every possible NET ID.

Anyone able to offer help with what my net id?

thats had a 1000 download on all the forums its on and no problems ? just do a full brute force scan
shut down and restart work fine bet its your box or splitter or loose connections

dont need a netid with brute scann and remember theres 3 pages of areas on c2 lite

if l had realized your hadnt make an introductory post l wouldn't of bothered relying

I have no idea, I;m seriously unlucky with this. Maybe my tuner is crap. Images that are great freeze on mine and the easy method to get the channels isn't working out and my net id is difficult to find!

I had a DM800S which was so much easier :sigh.

Im still at it. I'm going to move my box to the original feed output to see if its my wiring.

thanks I already have seen this my NET ID isn't easy to identify the general one being NW LONDON doesn't work for me.

Haven't tried 00000 yet which is the updated net id for my area, not sure its correct!

edit- Does anyone have the frequency of BTSp 1 HD? I know different areas use different freqs but would like to attempt.

So I reflashed image and scanned again. Got channels back but missing a few. I'm reluctant to do ABc2 again but I've just made a list of all possible ones and it will take me a while!

Because I got SS1 working through manual scan maybe I picked it up from a different area and thats why ABc2 failed through the first available option. I also looked up the net id code it used when it failed and it scanned an area far from me. Maybe. Hopefully this thread can provide help to others too.

Will now scan through a bruteforce found channel and report back with final results of the coming days.

BT Sport 1 HD uses the same TP as BBC News HD & NHK World HD, someone near you maybe more help if you state your area.

For anyone who has the same problem, tried different autobouquets until it worked.

Lost other channels so bruteforce scanned again and manual scanned BT1HD back in
