Cable image for a dm800se sim 2

Just after some thoughts everyone, I'm new to cable so I was wondering if there was any preferences regarding images and what they were, or if it was like satellite, very much personal preference. I've used the DW image for years on sat and I've been happy with it, I'm looking for an equally steady image, preferably with mgcamd installed but that's not a must, ta.

OpenATV mate it has built in cable EPG and autobouqets.

I use openpli 4 personally but I know many people use openatv for its out of the box ready to go ness

openatv for cable or satellite tried all images but always go back to openatv

I have openatv loaded but need a little help, only bbc1sd clearing. I didn't add a cablexml file to the box or enter a network id before I scanned, I'm guessing I need these?

Tried it a couple of times with no joy, box freezes then a dialogue box opens up that says "timeout for tuner lock". I've checked the autobouquetsmaker log and there are multiple entries - Autobouquetsmaker FAILED.

autoboquetsmaker then goto providers second one down in the menu: virgin (uk) yes: virgin (uk) press left until you see your area :virgin (uk) generate main bouquet yes :virgin (uk) generat sections bouquet yes

all ok until this point : generate main bouquet yes :virgin (uk) generat sections bouquet yes, I can't see these options anywhere in the autobouquetsmaker menu.

Whats the date of the OpenATV image ? the above does not seem right.

Still no joy,same thing, no option for generate main bouquet yes :virgin (uk) generat sections bouquet yes. Where should these options be found? The automaic scan completed ok, found 600 channels and the few available without a sub are clearing ok, BBC1, bbc news,s4c etc. just can't get ABM to work.

Are you 100% sure that the netID is correct? Best to check official receiver's engineer's menu when in doubt.

I haven't got the receiver yet, another 10 day wait. I'm using the net ID for liverpool 41016, also tried another called liverpool trials which is 41008 with no luck.

You can try Lraizer's one which works whilst on an active channel. Unless you are in a Pure area, Net ID must be correct

Not sure how to explain, but for purposes of scanning with AB C2, they only have the transponder details for that area. ExCW and "TelePest" areas will get details of chanels that cannot be viewed there.

Can you upload your lamedb file after the last scan you did please?
