I'm looking for a piece of software that was created awhile back,I think it was called wiz-tools anybody have a copy of this floating around by any chance?

If I remember correctly you could modify(change box-key,ird etc) the flash dump of a 4001 "atmels" also 4010,2100 "Jtag", think there was only 1 public release as I recall but it was a while ago.

That's the one Spectre, knew it was a while ago how time flies....... the file was posted on another forum don't think its around any more tho.

There is a good chance that the tools are no longer compatible with current firmware.

Are any 4xxx STBs still in use?

Maybe all the old Pace box's are dead and buried High Def was the slayer, but there easy to read data from Jtag, Willem.... no expensive BGA programmer required.
