It is not a big deal and as long as its for personal use its not illegal I just got a sky package today and the sales rep told me I can watch my channels online when I'm on holiday HUH EH I SAID HOW COME
Basically he said If I take my lappy on holiday I can log into sky.com and enter my card number then I can watch my package online ?

OK so I put this to him my dad has not got sky ? but he has a lappy rigged to a TV in his bedroom if he wanted could he use my card number to stream a movie from his lappy to his TV.
Yeh no problem he said as long as he doesn't phone us and tell us your not there ?
So this big deal about card share is nothing more then buying a freesat box and using that to stream a movie instead of a lappy.
Basically you have configure your free sat receiver TM DM etc etc with your card number to receive your package when your not a home (sort of)
Its not a hack and your not going to receive 100% picture quality,
If you abuse it to the max you might get into trouble (rare)
But the sales rep today says theres nothing wrong with using your package mobile YEH BABY.
So sign upto sky and take it with you where ever you go ???????
HACK NO GOOD SERVICE YES :Fish:
