Ive been reading through the forum but havent come accross a problem like the one i have..

I have a pace 4000, my area is c&w. i have the correct IRD and BK (programmed it many times before). But a couple of weeks back the channels became scrambled and a while after that only channels 1 to 5 are working.
i programmed my funcard with the tempfix and also tried it with the new Au update but both have no effect.

In engineers mode the card status reads : Please Wait
signal is fine and method is fine as i have programmed my other box in the same fashion.

thanks in advance.

your not near leeds by any chance?
if the info supplied by the OP is accurate he's not in an N3 area - or only 1 of his boxes is - big house lol

edit - and he's moved as his 4000 used to use a tw flash - which might explain the problem if it's still on tw firmware or has a no-update mod and his current xc&w area has upgraded to 3.7 - but couldnt really say based on what he's posted so far

well i live in the london area, ilford.
ive bin using the box with c&w and it has worked fine in this house until just recently.. tried updating it with new 3.7Au and tried by putting in the keys when first method failed..

i do understand leads is one ov the very few area's that have bin hit by the N3 problem.. my neighbours who have a similair set up to mine do nt have any problems.

what info would u like me to supply you with. im quite new when it comes to dealing with problems to do with updates or trying to figure out a problem but ill do my best to give you all the info u need.

whats the box firmware revision? significant issues have been experienced in 3.7 area's by people using boxes not runnign 3.7 - the reason i ask is because a scrambled channel order (your initial symptom) is common when runnign a box in the wrong area - and a quick search reveals you used to ask questions about a 4000 in a tw area

how do i get hold of the box firmware revision?.. im sure about being in c&w area because ive programmed it before. well i tried using the tempfix method but that was for 3.7 aswell. what other method can i use instead?.. the old one with the keys?.
