Davyd, for a senior member m8y, thought you would have know to cut tb as soon as you open up the box!? Get it cut m8:Chainsaw:

Mines not cut :S been talking back for over a year LOL.. its not that important IMHO.. the box wasnt mine when subbed..

It makes the box pretty easy to trace though. The UBR line your talking back through narrows it down to about 15-20 houses. Same with dodgy modems - its not that difficult to suss where they are !

TBH nozzer the main reason i didnt have it cut was 2 reasons.. first it was the box would reboot randonly about 10-15 times a day.. (v+) very very annoying.. secondly to use Iplayer but now thats gone its pointless.. i did have a filter but it fell down behind the drawyers and cant be bothered to empty it and move it.. might aswell do it though :)...

orite ,
wondering if anyone knows whats hapning with my on demand..
says temp unavailable and if no working reset top box if doesnt work thn call 151 and quote 1036 when call..no sure what the code means and curious
thanks if any1 can anwser av looked but cant seam to find what the error codes mean

If its subbed it just means there is a temporary problem which is preventing the box from requesting the stream. Can also happen if the available streams in your area are already fully allocated.

If its a dodgy box, then its likley you box has been blacklisted as it should not be using OnDemand or any other interactive service !

exactly my point. i started with modems so when i got my box i didnt care about talkback, it got me the on demand stuff. now it doesnt but i still dont see the big deal. talkback or not, their still unlikely to do a door to door search to get me
