Can i get a twin tuner pvr and run it through my cable box to act as v+

i noticed they all seem to have freeview built in, would this cause a problem?
any advice welcome
Thanks

You couldn't watch/record two channels from the cable box at the same time but, if you connect one of the pvr tuners to the cable boxes rf out and the other one to your standard terrestrial aerial then you should be able to watch and record 2 different channels at the same time.

Not really sure its a particularly good solution though as the quality from the rf out on the cable box is pretty crappy. You'd be better connecting via a scart so dont think you have any advantage to a two tuner pvr !

its only really to record one as i watch one, im just not exactly sure how they work. oh and i dont have a terrestrial ariel either, lol im making this difficult i think

If you haven't got the terrestrial aerial as well, then the answer is no. Standard cable boxes are only capable of tuning into one channel at once and your pvr box is the wrong system to connect directly to the cable (dvb-t as opposed to dvb-c, the two are not compatible).

Thanx nozzer
The Box PVR Ready twin tuner
Anyone had any experience with these?
