atmega card

i got given a ditv 2000 the other day as the card had gone off and my friend just bought a starview box so he said if i can get it working i can have it, as i have never done a 2000 and i dont know the bk if i read the card in my programmer and download the files off it will i be able to get the bk out of it or will it wipe it ?

depends what programmer your using and what program you open it with

hi ken i got a usb unlimited infinity programmer, and i use the software provided with it, what i was saying if i read the card and save the file as a hex file and open it in nagra edit will it give me the bk or will it wipe it out when i read the card.

i use a different programmer(it doesnt wipe the original off the card) so not sure about Infinity, but if you save the file and its the Hex file you can open with this program and it will give the IRD and BK no.s

Use the infinity to read the card then save the exteep to your desktop open the the program oldmanken posted and navigate to the file you saved and all will be revealed

to open in nagraedit you save as .bin

and in file type - all files
