What are ExtraCP functions for?

I've been away from extracp since setanta went away from freeview and was wondering what is available - don't understand what cablebox database or todays cable keys provide. could someone enlighten me.

They're for viewing encrypted cable tv.

does that mean that I can get as many channels as I get on my dbox?

The box key isn't needed for a dbox, they're for cable company boxes.

The keys are automatically generated on the dbox, no need to enter them in anywhere.

If the dbox is working ok then you've got all the channels you can.

I understand about the dbox but was wondering if I used the cable box upstairs what channels would I be able to get with the box keys etc

If you hack the cable box then you get the same channels as the dbox gets.

as long as u dont pay for ur cable box then ur fine if u do pay for it buy 1 from ebay and mod that mate
