hi, im trying to open up the pace 1000 stb, but none of the screwdrivers i have can do the job! are there specific screwdrivers i need to buy or a tool set?

I have a 1000 box and was able to open it with the normal plus screwdriver. I've seen the 2000 box use a star shaped screws though.

use a pair of pliers u can unscrew em if u hold the screws with pliers and turn easy that way

jus bought a 15pc set off ebay for £3. will come in handy too.

you will need a security tork one with a hole in the middle as the screws have a nipple in the middle

Yep, make sure you get the security torx else you'll have to find a way of breaking off the central nipple on the screw.

It is worth buying from maplin. Last year I bought from e-bay and lasted few seconds then snapped, so I bought another one from maplin and it is still working today. cheers
