Sammy remote stopped working after virgin update

Has anyone had this?? Sammy remote stopped working after virgin update. It's happened to 2 boxes over the past week? Weird!!

Don't know if this will help? But try pressing Tv, OK and chan + buttons all together. (If the led lights and stays on then press the buttons again) then try remote?

some of the 2110c have had the remotes disabled. Go into eng menu and on page 11 change ir inpit from disable to front.

Same problem now and again with my remote.I jsut press standby top botton to turn box off and 10seconds later on again and it works ok. I usually get it when rushing through channel nos. and it hangs.

Check in the eng menu, as mentioned above the ir sensor can be disabled there.
