somthingrandom.. we are all in the same boat m8.. no one know what would happen.. not until mr branson decides to throw millions of pounds and change the encryption (nagra 2).. we are ok !!

I would like to know if ntl users will be getting the tv drive stuff etc... Like TW has at the moment. Does it mean everyone will now have the same features no matter what town they are in?

all we can do is just sit back and see, some of us have nott gone over at all yet to the new software

I did search, however I thought we all need to know where we stand, so thats what this thread is 4! lol

Let us know if any1 finds anything else.

dont worry mate.. I think that was a wee bit cheeky for him to say that..

Hopefully we should be able to find a way round that too.. untill then, enjoy !!! free TV !!

We already have the TVDRIVE i am in Glasgow and have a subbed one. Its out in Glasgow and Teeside just now i think and will move throughout the other areas soon i would imagine.

I've already asked this very question of NTL:TW tech support as the upload speed for TW (386kbps) is much less than the upload speed for exC&W areas (512kbps).

The response was - we are aware of some discrepencies in packages and these will be addressed as technical differences are resolved. It may take considerable time though before the networks are fully integrated and all services are available to all customers !

As for TVDrive, you aren't really missing a lot. The boxes have even more issues than Pace boxes and there is so little HD content as to make that particular benefit irrelevant at the moment.
