Starview Back Up

Can someone please tell me how to take a backup of the image and Bouquets on a Starview box. and tranfer to another box.

I remember using dupman on a Euro Vox Max but got rid of that due to it keep freezing and loosing channels.

My appologies for being thick but I can't for the life of me find the gtrom loader. A link in another thread goes to the wrong place.

you can also transfer image and channels from one box to another, its a lot quicker

connect boxes with serial cable

put receiving box (ie 1 you want to transfer to) on standy by
on good box do ....
menu>user set up> s/w transfer then select code or channel and ok....
theres yer dinner:Clap:

no need to put the box in standby just hook it up and sellect transfer

If the box is reverted to Factory Setting is the immage erased or just the Channels and Bouquets?

just the channels the software stays the same
