new channel from channel 5

was flicking through freeview channels and noticed on one of the channels it mentioned new channel coming soon from channel 5 , had heard nothing about it , so did a search all I came across was this C5 to launch free-to-air repeats channel 5 Later | News | Broadcast , had hoped it might be ch5 hd , but does not seem so as yet , unless anyone knows different

CH5 missed the boat on Freeview last year and the Remaining Frequency slot went to the BBC with its current line up of the extra HD channels BBC3,4,News and the Kids ones.

They CH5 decided to hop into the subscription bed now with old ruppie for its 5HD channel, So i cant see this coming to Freeview for the next few years at least

Channel 5+24 has just been launched, which will repeat the previous days programmes 24 hours later.

Not sure why you post quoted me there as the information i gave just about CH5 HD is correct we wont be seeing this on freeview for a very long time
