Hi pilgrims

My son has 2 TV's, both have freeview built in.
He has Sky
There are 2 aerials on the roof one feeds the sitting room and the other feeds a room at front.
Both aerials face opposite directions (as do all the other houses in the road)
He wants to tune in Freeview on both his TV's to use as back-up if Sky goes down.
I went round the other day to tune them in. However, on both TV's (using different aerials) there were no channels found.
I thought this a bit odd.

Anyone got suggestions for me to investigate.
Cheers

Apparently since the analogue signals were shut down, much more power was diverted to the digital signal and the need to swap aerials unnecessary.
As in my house, my old aerial picks up digital tv, and that's in my loft.
Cheers

well next thought would be breaks in the cables somewhere

try run another coax and re try
