Hello Mick,

What we need is a competition where you can actually win something.
How about, all willing competitors pay £1 into an account and recieve a virtual £100 to play with. You choose several different sporting events per week which we can bet on and we have a table with all competitors on and whoever is on top at a given time (xmas) wins the whole pot of invested pounds?

It might be difficult to do because of the "virtual" money people already have ?

I really like the idea though, I think we need to look into it more.

Can anyone else add to this how we could make it fun for members to win some cash?

How about a "Myths,Mysteries and Unexplained" section you could always expand to Hauntings,ghosts paranormal activity's and the like.Peeps could win DW cash for the best photo or story of the month.

If you read it again m8 you will see that dar1437 was suggesting using real money to pay for the initial £100 virtual money and then paying out in real cash,at least thats how I read it.

I think the problem with real money is, it then needs someone to look after it and such, whereas with pretend money, if it disappears in a crash or issue with the forum, it doesnt matter too much (I've been on other forums that tried it and had issues ).

Why not a competition or something with a prize?

Real money adds a bit of spice to it.
As it's only a £1 each, no real harm if it all goes pear shaped.

It's not as bad as proper gambling though edogg, your £1 will last you 3 months and thats all you can lose.

We are always looking for apartments/villas abroad that are recommended. Could we list those up for holiday rents either tried and tested or rented out by members here!! Help us to help ourselves ;-))

hi mick talking about suggestions why not have an archive section for all the posts that are eithier 2week old or one month i think it would help users when ther looking for the lastest topic then anything older users can luck in the archives just a thought:nopity:
