A while back, a feature was added to ignore certain forum sections. Can someone remind me how to do so?

Many thanks

I've certainly done it, but it took me ages to figure it out, and I'm b*ggered if I can remember how I did it now.

Intuitive it isn't.

If for example, I wanted to exclude the bookie forum, what do I do once highlighted? You can click save, but there is no indication of what is being excluded or if indeed the exclusion has been applied. If I recall correctly, theer used to be see what was excluded.

Thanks in advance.

CTRL and then select the forums you do not want to see :)

when you use ctrl and the mouse you can multi select.

Then click save (very bottom of the page) when you go back you will still see they are highlighted.

Is it really worth all the messing about?. Why not just simply ignore the forum headings that do not appeal to you. Sorted. :)

I like the idea that you can filter. I only filter out 1 section IE joe bloggs got a new high score. As a mod I feel I cant filter anything else out but its a useful feature of the forum.

Not really miggy. If you only use " New Posts" as I do, you don't see forum headings and you don't want to be trawling through stuff you have no interest in...particularly Joe Bloggs and his ****ing high scores.

Fair play to you both. I was just merely stating that if there was a lot of hassle editing certain topics then simply just ignore them. :)

Poor old Joe Bloggs gets no recognition of his good work

I feel a poll coming on ..."Should we ban Joe Bloggs" :) lol

Seriously though, the Congratulatory Post forum is supposed to be for " Birthday Wishes and Post Achievements", but is in fact swamped with pointless posts about Joe Bloggs and his high scores, which I presume appear automatically. Time for some tweaking?

That means you cannot add to a list of exclusions. You must reselect the all sections you want to exclude. I only wanted a couple of exclusions, so will work for me.

An issue if you click on the wrong forum by accident as you cannot unhighlight. Cancel/reset and redo will work.
