Chatbox

I seem to have lost the use of the Chatbox for some reason, when I click on chat I get a page full of smileys.

Anyone else having the same problem?

It’s not working on any of the skins.

I’ve always used the default skin and haven’t had any problems with the Chatbox before.

Something is not right, this morning I saw my avatar with the VIP’s that’s online but I couldn’t see the post for the “Welcome to VIP” and it’s very unusual for me to miss any new posts.

Now I can see the “Welcome to VIP” but not my avatar

I think it only shows a certain amount otherwise you would be scrolling down forever m8

Thanks mate but I don’t think that is the reason, I’m an early riser and most mornings it’s just joe516 and Magnu420 online.

Maybe that list just shows members deemed to be experts as well in certain things and not just VIP?

I don’t think that is it either because as I said , I saw my avatar there before but I couldn’t see the vip room, now I can see the vip room but I can’t see the avatar.

I think probably it may have something to do with the stain on my record from the past.

It’s not that important anyway, I didn’t contribute to get a vip statues I just did it because I’m sharing what I’ve already read and digested.

If it was because of that you wouldn't have received VIP status,

VIP status is voted on by the Staff and is not an automatic promotion once you reach a certain criteria

OK mate, thank you for your help I do appreciate it.

Although I still suspect it may have something to do with that, because on the rules & code it says if you get a Permanent Infraction, it’s dealt automatically by the forum system and would be out of the control of the DW Team

Well I’ve played around with all those subjects at one time of another but my expertise some would say is mainly Theology.

But if you think that is the reason, why have the avatar there for a period and then take it off.

Such a triviality, I only asked because I was curious, I guess what they say about curiosity killing the cat may be true after all.
