Due to get a slow cooker soon but was wondering how long you can keep your stew on 'keep warm'
I reckon stew tastes better a day after its made and was wondering if you could keep it warm for 24hrs or more

anything else i'll eat on the day....

cheers in advance

Instructions with ours says two hours max at keep warm. Must be summat to do with the temperature not high enough to keep bugs away and so bacteria may flourish at the lower keep warm temperature.

Just my opinion really. There may be some other proper reason why the limit.

If you have your food around 37 degrees bacteria will multiply big time.

Your best off heating it when you need it.
