The falafel chickpea balls spices are widely used in the Middle East, it is a dish made of chickpeas with chopped onion, garlic, cumin, parsley and coriander. The falafel is usually served hot, wrapped in pita bread with tahini sauce, a salsiana sesame seeds, or a yogurt sauce and accompanied by fresh vegetables. Chickpeas used to prepare the falafel should be dry and soften in water made ​​at least 12 hours before.

Ingredients for 15 felafel:

200 grams of dried chickpeas
1 clove of garlic
1/2 onion
1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
1/2 bundle of coriander
1/2 bundle of parsley
salt
pepper
oil

Method

Put the dried chickpeas in a bowl with water and a pinch of baking soda and keep it soak for 12 hours.
Drain the chickpeas well, put them in a bowl along with the chopped onion, parsley, garlic, cumin seeds, coriander, salt and pepper.
Put all the ingredients in a blender and chop until the mixture is smooth.
With the mixture formed into balls that are going to place as on a plate.
Place the falafel in the fridge for 1 hour.
Then heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the falafel until they are a nice brown color.
Lift, drain on absorbent paper and serve the falafel on a bed of green salad.
