Cheers

(couldn't resist mate)
HH.

:Clap::Clap::Clap::Clap:

I going to use Teso Finest Chilli ones and add a some fennel. The recipe i am making uses 450g beef mince and 450g italian sausage (sweet or hot).

How much fennel should i add approx, i will ne using just the sausage meat.

Cheers

Fennel... in a 450g of beef mince, should be not more than 150g..
( your choice of Teso Finest... will make angry any Italian chef).....

That's the highest pork content hot sausage i can find around me..

have you tried fennel before? it's quite a strong flavour and not everyone likes it. if you haven't i would think 150g might be a bit too much, and would use less.

Fennel tasts of aniseed dont it?

You can get italian sausage from the Market in Swansea mate. There is a specialist delicatessen there that sells it. Although I am pretty sure that its just salami? Or I am way off? lol

If you using Fennel, mean the vegetables, cutting ,and mixed on it, is OK 15o gr in the meat quantity you will use, if you mean only fennel spice, than 150gr will be good for an elephant,.... than just a tea spoon of fennel spice will be fine..but no more due the strong flavor of this spice..

I aint using the fennel now, HATE aniseed. Going make my spag bol tom now as fancy a can or two..lol

It from my Italian Grandfather Proiritti's recipe.

I bought a Chorizo though so going to conjure something up with that.

Garlic, onion, tinned chopped toms, tom puree, dash of wine...Mmmmmm

Ya look like you go to make an Indian food mate... so enjoy your mix..

Not using Chorizo in that mate. Just using that tonight. Using Minced beef and italian sausage in spag bol.
