Hi All,
Thinking about going muti sat again, which is the best cam to go for now ? is seca broken again ? I see some file on here do they work ? any advice on equipment and which birds to watch would be a great help.
Thanks

hi m8 cheapest would be to go with dual sat ie: astra/hotbird
cheap way is to get a secondhand stb price check with outlets
loot? old sly 80cm dish dual lnb £17-25 point at 19.2 degrees east of south (old analoge sly) use silver/funcards 2000 channels
cam in with the stb freecam

right you say you get 2000 channels but what type anything worth the head ake for????????????

types of program
movies,sport,smut,news,kids
foreign channels

are the channels easy to get ?

Hi,
Are the channels easy to get now ? most are turning to seca 2 and other encription systems I dont want to spend a lot of money and find in a couple of months I cant get any channels. Is it worth buying now ? or is it a gamble ?
thanks

Hi m8
Well as you already have said. Some providers are switching to Seca 2, so it’s really up to the individual whether it’s worth a gamble. But there is still enough to see in my opinion :)

But has it not always been the same? Decryption, encryption, decryption, encryption etc etc.
If we decide to give up! Then yes it’s easy to get channels. We just pay for it.

But we don’t wanna give them that! DO WE?:D: :D:

do you mean to tell me,I could be watching sat??????????!!.Ive got an old sly box and 80cm dish.will need a tutoral and some new brains to work this one out ,any help would be real good, thanks.:) :) :)

yes the old sly box as u say can be used to recieve channels but they are analoge and there are not very many and mostly general entertainment and most are non english
the dish can be used but u would be better off with a min 1mtr dish u need a universal lnb and a digital reciever a h2h motor if u want to motorise u system or if u just want astra/hotbird u need a dual lnb

what stb? all goes by preference, humax patched with all cam is the prefered stb because of the back up
then with others u may need different cams

if u wish to use the old system point ur dish at 19.2 dgs east
at the same place as old sly:D:

thanks davidh, but on reflection Iwill wait to see what develops in other aeras.thanks for the fast reply.:) :) :Dunce:
