OK so currently I have a PC running Kodi with TVHeadend, which has been perfect running a duel DVB-s2 card.

Due to changing BB to Virmin I have added a USB DVB-t2 / C tuner I brought it a year ago from amazon for £20, the make is August.

Now the issue is that I get a lot of buffering and some channels not even opening on the cable side. The line is from the same provider as my sat one which is fine so I think the issue is not the line.

So should I spend more money on a better USB Tuner or buy an E2 box.

If the E2 box I need 2 dvb-s2 and at least 1 dvb-c tuners.

So Ideas Guys?

Sorry Mods, its a duplicate post as was not sure to put in cable or sat section, please delete whichever one you think best if I have broken the rules

I've just tried the same with a Pi and an August DVB-C USB stick and having the similar issues. I'm thinking of upgrading to cable so I can get the HD channels in time for the F1 season [emoji1360]

@ Turner, yes Newcamd, have not tried MG Camd as I dont know how to set it up.

@ T3rminal, interesting to see you have the same issues, are you looking at getting a new tuner? If so which one?

I doubt it's the tuner. More to do with the config I think. What files have you entered details into? I have added info into the oscam.server file but nothing else.

I have used newcamd from withing TVHeadend, have not worked out how to use Oscam, it might be worth trying MG Camd in Oscam though if you know how to do it
