OSCAM please help

I used to have a VU Duo just bought a Mutant HD51 really nice box didn't realise I had to enter the new world of OSCAM.... Im lost don't even know where to start....
I have latest VIX
Downloaded softcam ...latest
started oscam ....

now do I use DCC , Filezila? or browser.....

etc etc can anyone please guide me help me

Thanks for that ........... not sure where going wrong but when I restart it dosent recognise my oscam server file ...message no config files found please set up oscam first in etc/tuxbox/config

the file im trying tosend over is my line through a cccam to oscam converter ,,, gives me the below ( personal details removed)

any help be greatly appreciated

Your going to need the oscam.conf & user files as well as the oscam.server file all in etc/tuxbox/config as your on the VIX image

Obviously edit with your own details and ftp over.
 
so do I create additional files in filzila within etc/tuxbox/config add 2 more sub files making 3 separate in total ?? user files and oscan config
 
hi all the numbers not got a ckue what half of them relate to do I have to edit every one and know what they mean??
your user file is completely different to mine - should I replace mine with yours?

Good new is the oscam actually switched on so something working replaced the error message
 
Use the 3 files ive gave you. All you need to edit is the oscam.server file. The other 2 you could make in notepad++ name them as ive named them and then send them over 3 files in total/

in the Oscam info do you need to put anything in httpuser - username or htpwd password ?

I dont offer support via PM mate.

Log into your oscam webinfo like this

http://192.168.1.***:8888

When in click on live log.

Dont forget after starting oscam you need to also select autostart or the next time you reboot is wont start.

my browser isn't accessing the log that's chrome IE and Mozilla ..... do you think a setting on my pc?
 
think my computer not liking it oscam is running but every browser not reaching the log - strange..
 
are you entering correct info cant see it being pc issue
 
what about allowed ip address in oscam config?
at work now so might not get chance to reply again for a while.
enter this in oscam.conf if its not already in there
httpallowed = 127.0.0.1,192.168.0.0-192.168.255.255
