.nfi to VU+ Solo2???

My solo2 can´t read from USB.
Is it possible to flash in another way?

Clone is it then i guess you have been hit by the time bomb, if you have a clone nand flash replacement is needed.

If yours is not a clone try a different USB stick.

There never has been any nfi images for the solo 2 and vu utils does not evem recognise the box so it could not flash it if there were nfi images.

Well, I don´t know if it is a clone or not but it seems like the flash chip could be the issue
as it don´t even start more than lighting up the powerbutton. It don´t read any USB.
I tryfinding a flash chip and start with that... Thanks.

Alibaba did seem to have them at one point.

Why not take a picture of the mobo and upload it so we can try figure out if it is a clone and if so what manufacturer. It will help you in recovering it.

Well its a clone see the x-card sticker on the chip although im still not sure of the manufacture but suspect it is Lornison.

They talk about the xcard sticker on this thread.

Today I have another solo2 fromthe same shipment one year ago.
I did the channel search and get it back to work. A couple of hours later I came home and finding it rebooting. Black Hole logo on the tv-screen, starting in the display and that´s it. Nothing happens...
What should I do??? If I restart it I´ll maybe destroy this one too.

how about jtag i have a clone one V2 from vu-hd.com will it work flashing the chip through jtag?

Not many are successful jtagging them because the time bomb creates a bad sector on the nand and jtag can not solve that.

thats bad =( is there a chance thou i mean i believe the reason why clone is not working is either wrong flashed image and i also got my vu unplug while flashing (i dont now what cause the problem)?

Some have been lucky and not had a bad sector. Its a gamble as to if its going to work or not.

Do you have any idea what image to use in these???

The xcard sticker suggests is Lornison

When I start them up I see a Black Hole logo.
Is this some help???

Searched and found an image Lornison vusoloPBNIGMA-VX-5.20150518_usb.
I will give this a try and hope it will work...

So the Vu util doesn't reconsie Vu Solo SE 2?
