BT Sport HD

Currently in the south of Europe and notice that BT Sports HD has vanished, is it me or its gone 'UK Eyes only' - the SD version is fine and the Astra wensite says its on the European beam at 11.973V but its not for me

It's on the UK spot beam now, only the SD versions available at the moment.

For BT Sports 1 HD, my autobouquet has it on transponder 11386/V/29500 3/4 same as mentioned by Rat.

Only has a sat footprint covering the UK..like when you shine a torch on the floor where it's lit it's that spot beam

It basically means it's aimed for UK rather than slightly further afield. If you're outside the UK it's possible you wont pick it up.

Just because its on the UK spot beam does not mean its out of reach for many European country's it just means its that little bit harder to get a signal, I receive over 800 channels form 7.3° west as well as other sats that have so called Spot beams aimed purely for there country of origin. use the map as a guideline and think of it as a stone hitting water the initial splash is the spotbeam but the ripples are still obtainable outside of the official area

Bit out 737 or there abouts but add feeds from 8 west and it slowly starts going up, Avforums quiet these days

feeds off 8w? what one? lol my guess is you'll get about 600-650 on a blind scan (hope I didn't over estimate that)
