Motorised setup, driving me MENTAL

I've been trying to find some simple answers about motorised sat... Ive got a fixed dish and an enigma box at the mo. I want to go to motorised but what can I get on that setup? Are there any English channels that are just open and free? Are there any CS setups that will give me HD prem?!

What can I actually watch with a motorised dish, in English?!

The are lots of channels available on many channels and lots with hd. One example look at the telnor package on thor at 0.8w, only open with cs though.

Hd premiere league no English audio unless you buy a bein sport card and paired stb and can get 7w.

I've got an old Humax freesat box which i use to get the radio commentary of the matches - the sound goes through my home cinema. Its usually around 9 seconds ahead of the picture but you can pause / record the sound to get it in synch. Takes a bit of practice to get it in synch but doable. Most of the top games are covered by 5 Live Sport or Talkshite. Picture comes through my Technomate box.

No exactly true, do you require english audio? Take a look at liveonsat.com and it will show you each game being shown each day across europe and it will show you what channels there on. The reason yours prob. stopped working was due to the server it was connected to turning you off. Was you box connected to the internet? To turn it back on google cccam server and make sure its connected to the net.

I used to have a motorised dish several years ago, could get more channels than i knew what to do with, never had the time to watch them all ranging from 30w through to 28e.

I now use a fixed s*y mini dish pointed at 19.2e and watch the games in HD on the Spanish or French channels. I prefer the foreign commentary to be honest as, can even learn some of the lingo while watching

I have a 1m motorised dish with c lines, you can watch most EPL games including Saturday 3 o'clock kick offs. The only one that you can watch with English audio is Setanta on 28.2e, they usually have the best 3pm kick off anyway, no HD though. Spain and France have HD but with foreign commentary, amongst others.

liveonsat.com lists all the games and every satellite they are on.

There are also loads of movies as well, mostly in English.

Bein sports 7w all 3pm games English audio just not by cs.

What size saucer is required for this manic01 mate?

dependant on your location and using the official Bein Sports receiver with its inadequate tuner you could be looking at around 1.8m and above, factor rain margin and snow in the winter a 2.4m should just about cover it

I heard from someone who has official stb the tuner is ok and they use in ok in S wales.

I'm 400km further west than Cardiff (using Cardiff as example as it's in South Wales)so I don't know if that's possible to do from here, I wouldn't mind putting up a 2.4m dish if it works.

It should work, I can ask a mate whos over the water and is an installer.

BIGGER THAN 1.6 METER
1.8 Meter will likely work but i would say only Just and rain would be a big,big factor
my 2 meter prime focus gets it but not 24/7 reception due to weather conditions
A friend of mine has a 2.4 meter offset gets bein sport all the time he is not very far from Galway in killybegs
infact he gets almost all TP's on 7W but its a brutal size of a dish .

Setanta obviously read my post because they have recently launched Setanta HD.

Hi all, not sure where to put this but I have a technomate 5402 hd mk 2 with a motorised dish that a shop all installed for me around 2 years ago. Only problem is I have today been playing with box trying to add a satellite to my lists. All was working good before but now stuck on the satellite thor 1 west. I try to change the satellite and says moving however doesnt so the channels come up just no signal. Ive been trying for past 8 hours to sort out but at a loss now. Any help would be great to get my dish moving again.
