Thought it would be good to see what Receivers you have and what made you choose that particular one

Was it the specification or the support or something else ?

Do you just like having the latest receiver on the market lol

I still have a Sunray 800SE but at the time was the in box and had all the support for it

What you got and why :)

first box I had was tm1500 , nice and simple to use , still laying around dormant at the mo lol , now have a tm 5402hd m2 , chose it as basically same as the tm 1500 layout menus etc so I could find my way around it lol

I have the gigablue hd quad+ with twin sat and twin cable, running ooenvix 166, not as much support as dreambox and vu+ range, Gb is a very quick box looks nice, im very happy with it, iv also had solo, duo, solo2(clone), dm800, cloud ibox, gigablue in that order, if just for sat i would recomend an vu+ solo2

Sent from my HTC One

I have the TM5200d, TM9100s, DM500s, DM500c, Sky HD DRX595, Amiko mini combo.

But they’ve all been made almost obsolete by the new T8 android TV box

using vu+solose and cloud ibox 2+se had just about every box available at one time or the other..still love the vu+solo2
But no need at present as i have got sly half price for now and use boxes at weekends for fottie on setanta and BT.

I have a dm500s because it cheap, it works and above all else .. the commando image
Does exactly what i want so need for upgrading...

My trusted old Dm800se is still going strong after 4 years, been off the scene for a while so not sure what the latest models are like, especially the twin tuners, I've a fair bit of catching up to do and maybe look to upgrade it, it's funny to see this thread as only a couple of weeks ago the father in law was doing a spring clean and came across an old dbox2, and asked me if it was any good now, the memories came flooding back.

Zgemma s2 for me. I was off the sat scene for a while and decided to set up again. I had a vu solo kicking about and fired it back to life but found it slow and unstable tbh. Bought the zgemma as it was twin tuner and very cheap. It does everything the vu duo I used to own did albeit the hdd is ext. I still have a drawer full of 500 s boxes but unlikely to use again. The thing I like about the zgemma is I have it on my network and anything recorded sd I can access on my smart tvs upstairs. Quite handy :)

i got a sunray sr4, golden lx2 plus a wetek play, going to sell sunray box soon and maybe get new technomate combo when it comes out

Zgemma Star H1 sat/cable combo. I don't need anything fancy and for £78 uk seller it works both cable and sat USALS for the motor set up.

DM800se for me the, Support on these model is excellent no matter what I screw up I can post and always get the answer to fix it, the box is like me simple to use :)

Had a duo now have a zgemma 2s (twin tuner for £75 from UK seller hard to beat) great box, prefer it over my duo

Ive got a DM800 clone, and recommended them to everyone who used to be in our little share, (the old mans got two, neighbours and friends have them), and theyve never let me down. Loads of support for them and always someone able or willing to try and help. Not one failure in the 8 or so that I know of. One person, (who wanted to be a bit cheap), bought an Eagle Box. Nothing but trouble, with very limited support and not something I would ever go for myself, (not even sure if they are available now mind?).

Zgemma h1 here. Bought because of the price, sat and cable tuner, enigma2. Upgrade from my dm500c. Still hard to tear myself away from commando but dodgy tuner n scart meant needs must

I have a solo2 now with cable usb, but I started with a openbox s9 then a hacked virgin cable box ,duo2 : clone solo2.
I have a an rpi running as a sickrage downloader and kodi media player with a samba cifs drive which i can access through my solo2 or the rpi
