TM-800 hd issues

This is a great site and as a novice at this type of thing I have made great progress and must thank everyone who has posted on other threads ( now closed) that have helped.

The official line is that I bought the system for my wife ( for several birthdays and Christmas' )so that she could watch Spanish TV, particularly TV Galicia where she is from. Also for the children to pick up some more Spanish language.

The secret reason was the hope of getting some Everton games that weren't on Sky.

Ive ve managed to get the system working and get great reception on ITV and Al Jazeera. Mainly I get tune failed or Sid not found in pat.

I'm that I need some of the downloads from this site. Am I right in assuming I put them on a pen drive and access them from the plugins menu?

Ok, so I have scanned Astra 19.2 east. I've got 500+ channels but tv Galicia isn't there. I've got high 80's signal and 0 BER. ASTRA say it's at11068 v 22000. It's free and there is no encryption. Where am I going wrong?

If tv galicia is on 19e then maybe your satellite.xlm file does not have he transponder frequency in there to scan it in, go into satellite and do a manual scan of the frequency its on, or download a new channel list and install it either via the remote of use a package called dreambox edit to load it to your box.

Thanks kegnkiwi, I did a manual scan and got nothing back. Done it again and noticed snr is high 80s but BER is at its default 83886.

Any suggestions?

just have a quick look do you have tvga shown in your channel list as thats what it comes up as in my tv list? Next it might be better to load a channel list as it will already have the the channel scanned in. What image are you using?

It might also be worth turning your dish if its motorised to 30w as this channel is also free on hispasat and theres load of spanish stuff on that satellite. It's a stong signal in the uk.

Remember you won't get any EPL on Bein Sports any more as they have a paired card system. Your best bet is the Spanish/French/German channels on 19.2 with a sea lion.
