Just wanted to let you know. I purchased a month on a VPS server with Switchlink. Put CCcam on it and it ran crap, I was getting text messages every day from my brother and nephew about blocking on the screen, and scrambled messages. There was only 8 of us using it, but I thought it would be better to use this than have them coming back to my DM500. Every so often I would try to login, but I could not access the server, so I put them back onto my DM500s and all have been great. I sent an email to switchlink to cancel the service as it keeps dropping out.
Yesterday, I thought I would log back on to see whats happend and it says the status was suspended. I sent them an email and got this back from them

The server was suspended due to the use of Cardsharing services which offers legal complications regarding the legalities.

Not so virtual PRIVATE server I think.

If your daft enough to just run CCcam on a VPS then really, what else could you expect ?

By their very nature, VPS's are a shared resource so everything you do is visible to the system administrator. Whilst they allow you to do many things, no operator who values their business is going to allow you to use their system for something so obviously illegal !

If your going to attempt to run such services on a VPS then you need to run your own private protocols. Just sticking an easily identifiable bit of software on the VPS simply isn't going to cut it !!!

Also, using an intermediary server in such a situation doesn't actually gain you anything. All you actually do is drastically increase your client ecm response time.
