Rat's Bouquet 23/3/15 update problems ????

Ive had a PM saying the last update is still not showing the updated channels :err:

Checked both my box's and those channels popped up on one as no tuner and only a couple on other box, but this didn't happen straight away it was a few days later from the update it was like they changed the frequency details again.

So they are not working on your box ? 1 or 2 boxes
they are working fine here and from what I can see at the moment there have been no changes

Im doing another full scan now to check again

New scan brought in no changes and KOF reports no changes
new freq is 11585.00MHz, pol.H DVB-S SR:22000 FEC:5/6 which is what I have in the last update as shown in post 1 :err:

if anyone knows where Im going wrong please let me know coz as far as I can see its all OK and all channels are working for me

the last update I put on my box's was when those channels changed, the update worked for a couple of days and they went again but not all of them, no idea what happened but all good now after you reposted the updated bouquet.

EDIT: what I did notice a couple of them only had now and next epg could that have been the error. just a guess?

Thanks for your PM which led me here. Also thanks for looking into this. Thanks to the guys replying too, I sent the PM initially.

More feedback:

* I did use the 23rd version before. These stopped working some days ago & the 14th versions did not restore them either.

* This evening I basically deleted all my previous bouquwets & imported bouquets, downloaded the 23rd version again and uploaded, everything works except those channels.

I tried the following too but still no joy:
* I upgraded my dreamboxEDIT
* I tried variations of those channels
* Toggled various switches in transponeder info via box's image then via dreamboxEDIT (& upload to box & reset &e2 restart)
* I checked the details for Quest+1 image Rat kindly took time to create/write/upload, mine are the same but no show
* SNR signals are strong on my channels, but after a few seconds of nothin: Tune Failed, mesaage box pops up.
* Tried several test lines from different sources, same few channels not showing
* Manually uploaded the files to enigma folder
* Tried various freqs on a few channels
* Tried autobouquets plugin
* Tried box's image's "Automatic Scan"
* Tried Fast Scan
* Tried Manual Scan, and many tweakings within
* Googled for results on various keywords for the last week & Past 24 hours
* and other things with box, dreamboxEDIT, ftp

The box is receiving the SNR signals well for those channels. I feel it is just a freq thing for me. Very strange others are getting it. Seems only the channels in the group in the photo I enclose are affected.

Dear Rat please do not spend any more time on this, unless someone else reports or PMs you with similar feedback. Thanks for your work on this already. Thanks to everyone who posts in this thread.

I just like to say how much I appreciate Rat since SgtFlipFlop stopped. Not only is Rat a true lifesaver but he is a very nice guy too. Many downloading his work here or via other places or from others in persons do appreciate his work for all of us and many do appreciate it very much.

Rat Please do not spend more time on this, unless someone else reports the same. It might be specific to my box/wares. If I do regain those few channels at any time, I will report back.

as I stated in another post these are not coming in any different on a new scan but should just re appear in the same place after a new scan has been run

I think a new freq will appear in a few days if the same happens as last time ?? who knows lol

I would sugest for now if you want these channels if you have kiddies just run a scan for now and it will bring the channel back in the same place

1) Before when a transponder group changed frequency, I would scan manually different channels until I stumbled on the New group. But the below channels still not working for me and not seem to be re grouped. Can someone who sees them do a manual scan (takes under a minute) and tell us what other channels are in this group?:

DMax

Discovery Shed

Even one of two names of other channels in this group will let me scan that group.

2) I suspect sky might be experimenting with this transponder group of channels. They might be locking this group on and off to their own boxes only which is in the works. They want to stop all non sky Boxes to be locked out. My sky box is broken, can someone who has both a sky and a Linux box test this group of channels and see if they show on both on a sky hd box and Linux box (enigma2 etc)?

This way we can eliminate some causes.

If a chanenl has moved to a different transponder and you want to scan that tranponder, you have to enter the transponder details to be scanned.

However, when you enter manual scan menu, the selected option is normally the transponder of the chanenl you were on last. This cannot happen if you start off on transponder that is now empty/you cannot receive.

Any Feedback on a scan bringing them back in What works for me might not work for others so unless I know .....

scanning kids channels now

get tune failed here on above kids channels after scan?

did another scan & above kids channels greyed out n/a

not sure if that helps you or not mate

:err: now Im confused more than ever

I did 3 scans
1 network scan NO brought in said channels

2 network scan YES Brought in said channels

3 clear before scan so all dead stuff removed said channels still there

I usually get n/a when I do a clear before scan
