nice one, i do want to try different flavours but i dont want to waste money (i know they dont cost much) on ones i wont use or like.

i glad someone else has posted that the ones in this thread are not like the blody tesco type ones at least people can see its not just my opinion saying that and that it is indeed fact.

i bought the ego-w because i read good reviews on it and i like the carts with them, but i think i will be buying some ce4's as i found them online cheaper than the ego-w carts.

the ego-t ive just bought now they will be backups and it was worth the buy even if just for the batteries, just got to wait for mine to turn up now as i only get to use one when im round my pals who uses them and tbh he's not a close mate so i dont see him that often so until then im still on the smelly 4000 cancer agent analogues

nice setup there, ive seen some of the mods, might be something for me later down the line.

also glad to see another posting and defending these against the crap ones out there.

people try the shite then carry on smoking thinking they all must be shite... theres really no need for real cigs anymore...REALLY.

I totally agree ive seen it time and time again when people say "oh these ecigs are crap"
and you then find out they have these cheap dirty brands.You any good with a soldering iron and wires mate?

I can point you in the right direction for how to builkd your own ive started making my own now im just wating on parts at the mo then i can start making a few more.

ive been using the ecig for just over 2 years now and it is the best thing ever!!
Ive got a bulli rebuildable atty, and use tornado batterys, i also have some varible batteries but got better results using lower ohm heater coil in my atty.

I agree with everyone else here, not all juice is made equal, ive generally stuck with the totally wicked red label tobacco and stawberry flavors, ive also got some B&H and titan, whist the b&h is usable the titan fluid smells like diesel and tastes like crap.

Something else ive done over the years is lower the nic levels, i did start off with the 36mgs but now chug 8mg mixed with 0mg, i cannot quiet make that step to quit yet.
I orginally started off using the ecig as a substitute to the anologues but over the course of time i found that i started to dislike the taste and was smoking less and less, until i decided to knock it on the head alltogether.

Initally the ecig tastes very dry on the throat compaired to a normal cig, it will make you want to cough first of all, just stick with it and you will eventually get used to it, this is where i think it puts a lot of people of. The dryness =, and also the ejuice that they put on the cheapo brand of ecigs is disgusting. I forgot my ecig a few months back and bought one in a tesco, i threw it away after two tugs as it tasted foul.

It does become a bit of an art, no two ecigs are the same, you are always adjusting things to suit your wants and needs, for me i like the throat hit and loads of vapour so i have lower resitance coils that i build myself.
good luck with it mate, you will feel much better in your health and pocket if you bere with it for a few days...

if you have read the thread the answers are in it, how safe? about 4000 times safer if you go by the cancers causing agents in fags.

you only get your nicotine from the e-cig and thats what you will be addicted to.

12 fags a day man id just go cold turkey and give them up, if i smoked 12 fags a day id consider myself a non smoker based on what i do smoke per day.

as for what to buy, if you do want some then you cant really go wrong with the ones linked in this thread (post 14), the ego-t ones 15 quid for a pack of two. just make sure you buy some spare carts and juice so you wont run out.

your looking at probably 20 quid on gear from the sites linked in this thread as a starting point.

Ha, i got taken to hospital last week (with pleuracy) and they asked me if i smoked or ever smoked, i replied that im an ex smoker as i dont class ecigs and my local gp also says the same (i got her onto the tornado c and she loves it) as smoking.
Anyways the doctor at the hospital (young gal) asked if i was a heavy smoker, i replied that i smoked around 10-15 per day and never more that 20, most days i had half a packet left so i classed myself as a light smoker, she replied that a light smoker is 1-2 per day, 15 is classed as heavy!!! fooking ell you really cannot win now days, i wonder what this woman would say at some of my friends that smoke 40+ and use the ecig as well.
she was a little hitler though, even my mrs who is ANTI smoking pain in the @rse even told her that that wasnt a lot and not fair to put that on my medical records.
Now that the antismoking brigade cant have a go at my smoking they will have a go about my smoking history...

back on topic...
another beauty about the ecig is you can stand with smokers without that constant pang, i still go outside with my smoking friends for the social element, this i found previously was the biggest problem given up, you lost that social element and felt left out which in the end caused me to go back to smoking. But you do really notice the smell, and its awlful after a few weeks lol.

I was the same when I first started, but now I just sit in the pub and let them go outside and freeze.

regarding the heavy smoker bit, some people look at it as one cig per hour, if you take anymore than that you are a heavy smoker. I was on 40 a day everyday, if i was drinking it would have went up to 60 and pre smoking ban days would have been more. I could never have stayed off them without the e-cig and I don't care that I am using it 16 months after I went off them. I am still addicted to nicotine and the hand to mouth action but its like being addicted to air, not doing me any harm.

ego-t's that i bought in this thread (linked) have turned up but still no sign of my ego-w's which iordered at least a week before the t's.

first impressions i like the e-cig its smaller than i thought it would be, teething problems i say problems its not but the juice that came with it is urgh!! i washed a cap out and put some virginia juice in but its still urhg!! tbh i think theres still old juice burning added to the fact i think this virginia is crap too lol.

impressed with the item but not impressed with the juice, i can see why people might try one and jack it if they got juice like mine.

time to just see it through as i have more juice coming with the w's... i can see flavours not being my thing as ive tried vanilla ect also... think i might be a unflavoured person or maybe a minty/menthol person time will tell.

right off for a vape with my coffee ( coffee takes the shit taste away lol).

id still suggest anyone to make the swap tho, apart from the shitty flavour juice ive got ive not had a real cig today nor have thought about it.

i personally like the red label tobacco from tw, and strawberry. I also have a bottle of menthol for when i have a cold as it cuts through the congestion nicely.
Im with you on the virginia, its horrible, as is vanilla and cherry.
But only one juice has ever made me actually vomit, and that was state express.
I told a friend at work how bad it was he didnt beileve me and ordered 10 bottles in a 30% discount, he had the same reaction as me and threw up. thus he has 10 bottle of state express sitting there unopened.
once you get a juice you like stick with it, it will save you money lol.

well as an update the horrid flavour i had the other day seems to have passed and its ok now (vanilla) still not one i'll settle on but useable till my others show up.

one of my batteries has died already (typical) but im getting a replacement sent so alls not lost and i have the other battery to keep me going.

thinking of getting a lavatube as they look the biz and ive found one online with a discount code for 23 quid delivered and its not a chinese wait 3 month job its a uk based site who have them in stock.

its the base only for that price but i have ce4's etc... on the way and ive already got the batteries and charger for one as i have cree torches which use the big batteries.
