I currently have a Pace ditv 1000, with all channels including front Row.
I have just purchased a Dreambox and after quite a few scans i have realised it does not pick up the front row channels, is there any way of adding the channels manualy by geting the channel info from my Pace 1000.
Without the worry of getting my card locked, for example if i disconnect the cable feed to my PACE can i then go into the ennginners menu to find out the front row channel settings or would the cable have to be connected.
The easiest solution would be if any one had service xml for my area PETERBOROUGH, tried the downloads the nearest are the i have found is CAMBRIDGE , would these areas be the same or ar they different for each town or city.

If you go to the services thread in the dbox section, try and get files for your area which include Front Row.
You can now edit your dreambox services file to include the front row channels (keeping to the format of the file).
If you have UK04 image or higher on the dreambox, you could copy the dbox services file to /var/tuxbox/plugins/dbox-services and reboot the box...on bootup it will convert the dbox services to dreambox format and you'll have Front Row!

Thanks for repy m8, but already tried that problem is there are no xml files for Peterborough, If i try a area which is also Ex C&W and is Sym6952 would this work even if the xml is for say another city.
The service file i tried had a different frequency think it was a Sym6887

You might find that the transponder and service id's are not the same in other towns/cities.
If you can find a place that's close to you, try it! It won't hurt, you just won't get any channels.
Make sure you backup the working services first though!
