Hi Everyone,

I recently updated the image on my dreambox to gemini 2.7 with evocamd 1.01 with a little help from mentorman. I like the few little tweaks and it does seem faster on the zapper. I used brute force cable.xml and did a full rescan and retrieved all the channels I had previously. My area has not gone to VOD yet but I am still having problems with FR. I get a hand full of channels with EPG but no picture. I have read in other threads that it has something to do with enigma images in general and that I would need Neutrino for FR. Would someone be able to clear that up for me or possibly advice me on where I might be going wrong?

Cheers in advance:Cheers:

The enigma images are based on the DVB-Standard and thats where things go wrong for us UK users, because our cable companies dont use the standard for transmitting EPG and channel data. At the moment you wont get Front Row channels on any enigma-based image for Dreambox 500c.

Neutrino UK02 and UK04 have a tempermental Front Row fix, but this does not work in all areas. At present, UK04 is really the only way to go if you want Front Row channels. This has to be manually activated by a series of button presses; and works better in some areas than others (working 50% OK on Ex cable and wireless)

I am in middle of developing Neutrino UK05 and will have it uploaded by the end of the week; this has full support for Front Row and all other NVOD channels :)

Also; my newer "Gecko 2006" enigma image for 500c will have full Front Row support; courtesy of coding by Cydine.

Cheers Dizzy,

Will UK05 be available for all as I believe some outside pressure is preventing the distribution of some images and if so will I be able to ftp my existing SCCE and KEYS folders as I did for my gemini upgrade?

A free to air version will be released on here for all members to try (regardless of post count) as soon as it is finalized. Most members on here wont help you out with the setting up of the "extra" bits of the image; but just as a little hint, if you copy your SCCE and KEYS folders to the new image and install a softcam then you should be fine :)

That's fair enough, I look forward to the new release. Gecko 2006 sounds intriguing also.

Thanks for the hint.
