WHOO lets scare this forum, bully these guys into hiding, I say no lets carry-on

SKY is losing to freeview , and not the dreambox dbox, Most people on here r on cable which means they have broaband and prob downloaded the movies 12 months ago before it gets on sky movies......

Sky full package is about 500 quid per house each year. freeview 30 quid one off payment, and selling about 10,000 units a week now.

NTL cant give u a digibox with a HD built in, But there broaband may see them move on to the next stage of online-tv......

SKY have lost to freeview , and a lot of there channels will move over to freeview.......

So sod the guy at NThell , and carry on the good work and keep it going and keep the images coming for all to have fun with..............................

R.I.P. SKY-TV

I couldn't agree wih you more mr. okokokok.

Please feel free to develop a new image and post it here.:Chainsaw:

I'm sure you will agree that it is the choice of the authors whether they wish to release their work here and risk the wrath of the cable companies.

These companies can see loopholes in their revenue gaining services and WILL fight vehemently to defend their income.

Also these companies can invest and bring new boxes with new technology and care for there customers,

Kick-um when they r down , Freeview for-ever hehe

With Film4 coming to freeview too, things are looking good. I'm still confused as to how they are going to even consider HD transmissions tho

When do you think NThell Will start transmitting HD? to keep with SKY.

will there be a Dreambox that will do HD?

Cant see NTL investing into new set-top boxes, but maybe streaming HD through there broadband service via a set-top modem with tv out on it..........

Have read they could go as far as 50mb if the upgrade the feeds to the houses, Something like a RG9 feed from the cable cabs................

Telepest have rolled out HDTV services all ready, assuming that you take the 'tvDrive' which whilst not available nationally is available if you ask. It seems that NTHell are gonna wait until the merger with Telepest is finalised and then they'll instantly gain the technology & services that Telepest are rolling out. I have seen Nthell engineers working on the green boxes in my area (telepest) so it's already happening.

Telepset appear to be about to trial a 100MB service too, in Scotland but this wont roll out until later in 2007. It appears the cc's are finally waking up to the idea that the '3' services they have offered are now being seen as 'standard' by customers and they are not willing to pay more for them. Which is good, cannot fault telepest with regards to keeping you as a customer...
