Sound But No Picture

Hi, On Some channels I get the Sound but on Picture Appears, any Ideas using UK02.

Do you get this problem with other images or is this the only one you have tried?
Could be a signal problem. Either too high or too low (most likely too low).

Only Tried this Image. But i only happens now and again. anyway of checking the Signal.

On UK02 image:

Whilst watching a channel, press red button to bring up the EPG menu.
Then press the BLUE button to bring up the Technical Info screen.

Your signal levels are listed as three values:
BER, SNR and SIG.

Post those values on here and we'll take a look

BER = 0
SNR = 62451
SIG = 29041

I am guessing ber =0 is not good

The Last one was a movie channel and this one is MTV Hits

Ber = 0
snr = 62000
sig 32765

No those signals are perfect.
BER is a value for showing the error rate.... 0 is the best you can get

Have you tried your own scan or have you used a services.xml file?
Or maybe even converting your DBOX service file to dreambox?
Which area area you in?

I have done a Auto Scan, Same problem, then Downloaded a Leicester Services.xml for a Dbox and converted this for the dreambox. all Looks ok. Just now and again the channel dont appear but sounds does.

my postcode is le67 2*e
edited postcode so that it doesnt show full address; the old one would directly link you to your road and not good if cc's come on here %

Does this happen only on specific channels or randomly???

Good Question. i keep a Eye on it. But i think it random

i have had the same with my box , i chaneged the lnb to cure bit. or the receiver tuner.
