Sky Sports keeps freezing during live cricket on my receiver

We have been experiencing this with our Dreambox receiver since over 18 months now. It is mostly Sky Sports 2, or whichever one is showing live cricket. It freezes like every 20 seconds. The signals are full, the connection too is fine because every other channel, including all other Sky Sports channel which is not broadcasting live cricket, works perfectly normal.....

I am completely dumbfounded on this one. Any ideas, suggestions and help in general is most welcome.

It's most likely a server problem or update your cam or your box is getting to hot maybe..

Could you please expand a bit on what updating the cam means?

Secondly, do you mean to say it gets hot through it being used for several hours? What is to be done when it gets hot?

I used to own a dreambox and I used to have problems with the channels freezing at strange times..I investigated and found this was because the box was getting too hot being on for hours at a time and I used a laptop cooler fan under the dreambox to keep it cool and no more channel freezing..


What image is on the box (Openpli etc) and what cam is the box running.?(ccam/newcam/etc)
You say you have been using the box for 18 months have you updated the image or cams etc in this time?
How are you getting ppv channels? Via server or own share?
