Commando help needed 500c

Have had commando on 500s for ages now, no problems, fantastic image, the best for these boxes.

Had a couple of 500c's have not used for ages , thought i would set them up and try and sell them, commando is doing my head in, using latest c15.1c, flash no problem, sml, set to wolverhampton, then the problems start, as soon as i try to start searching by fast scan, pop up comes up, no valid bouquets found, brute force scans for about 25 minutes, scan complete, then same pop up, no valid bouquets.

When image is first flashed bouquets are there, set for london,if i use vm autobouquets, get pop up again, no valid bouquets and then the london bouquets disappear.

Have tried different versions of image, same results !

Flashed with pli, no probs, so boxes are ok.

Any help much appreciated

It also happens to me when I scan also would to know why strange

I done one yesterday for the first time in years set freq and id used cable bruteforce and all channel's came in
need to edit them but that shouldn't take long

will autobouquets not save you the effort?

If you have set SML. Poor signal level could cause the bouquets to be wiped.

Maybe @PaphosAL can assist.

l had to do the same if l pick Birmingham its scanned as dudly and thats the wrong netid so l inserted it manually and scanned fine , heres my backup , go into scannin menu and add your netid and frequency mgcamd installed

some of the freqs are different from the list that flies around. Best bet get yours off a tivo. Hold both up/down arrows then boot up keeping them pressed in.

sorry i think i have put this all wrong, I have an image on and its working fine its only working fta the magic wont kick in and jack who i got the magic beans from says it must be that file and he has no way of checking it
The beans are in all the right places but the show wont go on

add line to newcamdlist var/keys? u lost me lol
mgcamd is in var/bin/emu
start with blue button toolbox and restart

right i am back again. i used Smirnoffs image put magic in getting all apart from these

They should be another bouquet called last scanned they might be in there

sent from 2 tin cans and some string

there is a new bouquet called new channels full of itv and channel 4 i will leave that running for a while see how i get on cheers magnu

nothing of the channels that are missing coming in. In the auto bouquet the frequency is not right for uddingston so im using north lanarkshire i think that might be the problem its missing something when it scans.

You could try and edit the cables.xml file to put the missing transponder details in for the channels you are not getting.

I tried that but it just took out all the channels that i am missing.
I dont know how to edit the file so i am lost there
