What do I have to do to get my DM800HD Clone to update?????

Hi Guys,
I have a DM800HD Sim 2.01 SSL 76

I have been trying to update via the web interface, it will let me select the file etc..

I then try to (Upload, i.e just click the update button) and nothing happens.

I have tried swapping routers etc, cables and cannot get it to freakin work!!!

I am trying to upload the newer ssl 84d

Any help appreciated

I think they either had to be updated to ssl 82 first, or they could only be updated to ssl 82 m8

i thought you could update from 76 to 84

You could be well be right m8, just something in the back of my mind is triggering a half memory

It should be simple make sure you have the nfi version of the ssl and flash it.

It take seconds to flash if your still having issues then use another browser to flash with.

Hey Guys,
Finally managed it. I wasnt able to use ANY browser for some reason, hell I even uninstalled my antivirus and used a previously known good router lol

I download dreambox tools 1.7.7 or summat and used a program out of there and it flashed first time I flashed using the 84D straight in and then out the OPEN ATV image on from on here.

Cheers! now just gotta figure out mgcamd so I can watch telly now lol
