Extending EPG - DM800HD

Anyone know how to get a longer epg on a DM800 please?..currently I only get now and next.

I'm using Blackhole.

U could try updating the epg file via the FTP proggy u use, give rytec a try download the 1 for your box and replace the epg cfg file with the rytec one, save the original file to put back on if you want to change it back at any time for whatever reason.

not sure which one to download for my 800hd and how to get it 'on-board'

what is actually in blackhole epg panel ?

I copied this into the epg folder, selected it through the menus and set it up and it works a treat,

I press the 'info' button then 'yellow' for single epg..I then only get 2 listings,,what's on now and what's on next.

press blue blue and what is in black hole epg panel ? when you are in there look for rytec/satmate if they are there highlight 1 then click ok on remote then yellow download now

pressed blue..blue..blackhole epg..highlighted 'satmate-sky.UK..pressed yellow..

it now says

Server name None
Epg.dat Url http://

Do I need need to input anything?

u press ok on the remote wen u highlight the satmate not the yellow add at that stage thats y u are getting wat u get after u highlight satmate, u need to press ok on the remote 1st at the satmate highlight then press yellow for download now

Nae bother m8 advise a wee bit reading up on the ins and outs of your box and how it works thats if ya like messing that is some peeps like messing some peeps don't.
But learning a few basics is a good way to start
