have a dream 500c that has lan server hdd attached.....we have over the last few months when there was rubbish on the tv watched programs and films we had recorded....we have watched all the films now.
i have seen some posts were folk are alluding to things that can be done with a dream 500c apart from propping the garage door open, some say info is all there others say the majority will not be able to do anything as the kit is too expensive you need.
before i put the dream in its box and put in the loft is it worth me reading more ?
some of the posts have so many jargon words and abbreviations that those who are in the scene know what is what but anybody trying to break in has a job just understanding what anybody is on about.
Note if anybody reads this, i don't necessarily want to be lead by the ear but a kick in the right direction would be a help....
