I may have made an err by flashing the official firmware onto a clone DM800HD.

It was working fine with the normal DreamUP 1.3.3.4 until I tried the OpenPLI Engima2 firmware.
Now I am totally unable to bootup normally with a "ERR01: CA Not Found" error.

Tried manipulating the Power Button to would not get into standby mode too.
(Thus no IP Addresss can be retrieved)

Even trying patched DreamUP, Enforcer patch, DMM click-Logo patch, my DreamUp simply not responsive.

What other options do I have to try before I engage my supplier for RMA?

Hardware:
Dreambox DM800HD-PVR (DVB-C module) clone
BL76 Sim2.01

What other options did you try ultrakiasu ?. Are there any other options?. Mine is definetely sim 2.01 and i have flashed a few times successfully and it has gold seal on base. When i first got the "error! no ca found" I flashed it with dream elite 1.0( whaich had been working on it for 2 months) and got a sucess and rebooted and then got the same message back . I have tried the enforcer with the patched dreamup but i get a file "too big" message when I flash. I have tried manybootloader immages including 69 which is smallest file i can find. Also tied various network tools including some linux tools but no success. I do not have a 2nd box to try the other methot. All help appreciated.

I had read all the known remedies for non-responsive dreamup flash.
Using the patched DreamUp also won't give me a IP address.
Same goes with the other add-on patching utilities.
No Go!

I was about to send the board back for RMA, till I resorted to the last known remedy. It happened I just got another shipment of Dreambox DM800HD on the same week, I tried the "Working Dreambox DM800HD Swap", and it worked.

Just connect the working Dreambox to DreamUp without the network option.
Once the flash button appeared, just disconnect the null modem and reconnect it to the faulty set along with network cable, and switch the set on, and this time, the IP ADDRESS is detected upon bootup. And I proceed with flashing via web browser method.

Saved myself few tens dollars from getting the box RMA.
