I have a dreambox that hung during a flash, after rebooting the box and connecting with tv I get a black screen, no boot up logo, green light on and no response from the remote. I have tried flashing the box a with a number of images all of which seem to go fine with dreamup, but all display the same issue, anyone offer me some advice on how to repair the problem ?

sounds like a bad flash, try to re-flash and do a flash erase

if this is ur first time to use this version of Dreamup, try uninstalling Dreamup and download new version and then try to re-flash

Dreamup 1.3.3.4

I've flashed the box at least a half dozen times, dreamup sees the box and responds to it, I have tried various images and on every occassion all seems to go well, but still the same issues exist on connection with tv.

Its in the stickies somewhere but when you brick the DM you need to use Dream UP with a null modem cable put there origional softwhere on then you will be ready to go again, had to do it in my early days

Freaky. I'd really like to know how that works. If you stumble across that post pls pm me a link.

Yep that always works for me, flash the original DB software first using dreamup, then proceed as 'normal' ie via network.

you need to flash the original image 1st
