]Flexmenu Plugin Modified for DM600 Image Backup By MrDude...

Thanks to the guys at Digital World Forums - UK underground at its best! for the needed files....

How to:
Ftp the included files to the dreambox root dir.

Chmod all the files in usr/bin to 755
Chmod /usr/lib/tuxbox/plugins/flexmenu.so to 755
Chmod /usr/lib/tuxbox/plugins/flexmenu.cfg to 644
Chmod /etc/tuxbox/config/shellexec.conf to 775

Once done - press yellow on the dreambox remote control to bring up the plugin menu.

Select 'Backup Your Dreambox'.
The backup process will take a little while - once complete your new image backup will
be created in the /media/hdd folder.
Use dreamup - to flash back to the dreambox.

pm me your email if you need the files.

cat /dev/mtd/ 3 > /tmp/backup.img

Does anyone know if this still works as I tried it and no image was created although it said it was creating your image...please wait. Then it went back to the message telling me where the image will be created but nothing.

Where did you check for the backup? Usually it's TMP, but above it seems to suggest MEDIA/HDD...?

I check both tmp and media hdd and there was none created.
